Arkas Line, which has been providing services to the ports of the Mediterranean and Black Sea with its own vessels and containers since 1996, has added feeder transportation for maritime trade. Today Arkas Line is also a liner operator with direct services to the Mediterranean, Black Sea and North Africa. Arkas Line, which has grown and developed rapidly through transporting goods to countries which play an important role in Turkey's trade, currently has direct services to the ports of Spain, Ukraine, Russia, Romania, Greece, Egypt, Algeria ,Tunisia, Kazakhistan, Ukbekistan, Moldovia and Belarus.

With the extensive experience since its establishment in 1977, Hanjin Shipping is one of the largest ship-owners in the world, providing services in five continents from Europe to Australia and able, through its regular weekly services and choice of equipment, to meet every kind of transportation requirement. In 2008 Hanjin Shipping has started a new weekly direct service to Far East.

The John T. Essberger Group of Companies entered the tanker shipping business in 1924 and in 1941 purchased DAL, which has transported dry goods in African markets for years. The company began offering container shipping services as well with routes to South and East Africa.
